Camp Celebrate-Honor-Support (CHS)
A day of Celebration-Honor-Support of Southern Minnesota Military and their Families August 19th, 1 pm - 9 pm Minnesota National Guard Armory 100 Martin Luther, Jr., Drive, Mankato, MN You're there for us ... We're here for you!"
This is a special day in which a large group of community volunteers from around Southern Minnesota will be offering a day of tribute and thanks to families of all or our branches of the Armed Forces who are currently deployed. Thanks to the help of many, we are trying to make this a special day. This day of support for our troops and their families will include educational seminars, support groups, pampering, entertainment, food and fun.
It is our hope that you will provide us contacts or refer this letter to help insure the success of this day of thanks to the families for sharing their loved ones as they are protecting our freedoms in this fight against terrorism. We are looking for financial volunteer assistance, but if you have other gift items that you want to contribute for special drawings that will be given away the day of the event, they would also be much appreciated.
Donations would be payable to the Minnesota Military Family Foundation - Camp CHS Mankato and mailed to P. O. Box 13, Eagle Lake, MN 56024.
